Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday.  No pressure (well, unless you’re the one cooking), just buckets of gratitude to be shared around a big table with the ones you love the most.  Oh, and it’s my favorite food holiday- for sure!

This year we spent Thanksgiving up at Hewitt Hill Farm with Tock’s family, who I love spending time with- the Mac family truly exemplifies selflessness and there is never a shortage of fun (or wine) when we’re all together (THANK YOU!).  The house was full of love and laughter, with 14 adults, and 9 boisterous kids (can’t forget the 5 dogs, hamster, and mice).  For whatever reason, we didn’t end up saying a proper Thanksgiving grace-so I’m going to say mine now. My biggest gratitude this year is my family……

I’m grateful for all the things we have, and even the things we don’t.  I’m grateful for my parents, and sister and brother for teaching me how to live life out loud, and for showing me the true definition of unconditional love.  I’m grateful for Tock for loving me the way only he can do and for believing in me, even when I don’t believe in myself.  I’m grateful for Abby, Oliver, and Lila, for giving me a life worth living and inspiring me each and every day to be a better person, so that they can grow up and do the same.   I’m grateful for all of this and SO much more.  What are YOU grateful for?

Here are my three loves, during a quick photo shoot with the cousins which I can’t show pictures of or I’ll ruin a Christmas suprise.  But I can show you this out take, and tell you that it makes my heart swell with pride when I look at it.

Thank you Danielle for learning what I hope all of my children have learned. And for passing it on to your children and their children, and so on and so on….

Thanksgiving grace was indeed missing I am embarassed to say, but Danielle has spoken for all of us with words and pictures.
