Since you’ll be sharing so much of yourself with me during your session, I figure it’s only fair that I do the same. Please still hire me.

When I was 5, I fell off the top of the fridge and broke my arm. I still have my cast. Gross, I know (but maybe we should blame my parents for letting me keep it?).
(that's a picture of my mom scratching inside my cast for me while my brother picks his nose and my sister dons her Laura Ingalls Wilder pajamas. Apparently Underoos were my jam)
My family has a theme song. It's called "The Mighty Santoros." I don't know how it came about, or when we started singing it, I just know it's awesome. Whenever we're together and someone asks us to sing it, we oblige. Because we're the mighty Santoros.
(There are way too many things going on in this picture for me to comment on just one. Also, we're way better looking now.)
Growing up, one of the more popular games I played with my siblings was called "Rug Burn." There were no rules, no instructions, no game pieces.
Basically we'd drag each other across the basement carpet until we all had proper rug burns. Fun times.
I have an ice obsession (those close to me would probably call it an addiction). I really just have an absurd amount of ice molds, because fancy ice makes drinks taste better. Sometimes people like to make fun of me for my fancy ice. Those people usually learn their lesson when I swipe my ice cube right out of their drink with my bare hand.
I take my friendships seriously. My friends from college call me Roxy, but none of us can remember why. We met 20+ years ago at St. Michael's College in VT and still make the effort to get together once a year for Turtleneck Weekends.
We have an obese yellow lab named Otis. He's ridiculously handsome but regularly binges on garbage and purges wherever he damn well pleases. He once puked up a stick of butter still in the wrapper. I'm convinced he has the canine version of Prader Willi Syndrome.
My heart lives here, even when I don't. If I say too much, you'll want to spend your summers here too, and you can't because we're at capacity.

I get unreasonably aggravated (bordering on rage) by whistling and tapping noises. If you whistle at your session, you'll see what I mean. Also, please don't whistle at your session.
Those guys are mine and our everyday ordinary is messy, loud, and usually chaotic. They fight a lot. They each use at least 15 glasses a day and leave them everywhere. None of them know how to change a roll of toilet paper.
Even still, they're wicked awesome, and they will forever be my greatest accomplishment.
I practice what I preach! These photos from our FIVE Day in the Life Sessions are everything to me. It’s pretty cool to have a visual history of my life as a mom, and it’s even better that my kids have actual pictures with me in them to serve as tangible proof that I was there too, always loving them madly.
"Danielle always makes life fun and adventurous! But I always feel so bad going to concerts and events with her because I never think she can see over the crowd. A lot of times, she ends up on my shoulders. That’s why our friendship works so well."

"The Cutest. That's what we call each other, because it's the truth. We've been close friends since college, where we met and found we had a shared sense of humor and love of bad words. She's funny, and good looking, and says nice things about me. That's why she's the Cutest. And so am I."
