It’s game time!!! Tock has been playing in a soccer league for a few months (we won’t discuss the multiple injuries that occur almost every week, or the fact that they almost always lose). Last night he had an early game so Abby and Oliver tagged along to cheer him on. I quickly captured them before they headed out the door. I wish I had had the energy to pull my camera out when they came home though- Abby and Oliver had blue lips from the gatorade they drank (because cheering your dad on takes a lot out of you and it’s important to replenish your electrolytes!), and the excitement in their eyes (and voices) as they described seeing their dad play a game that they both play too. Pure joy!
I just asked Tock what the name of his team is, and he actually doesn’t know!!! So I guess my cheer to them will just have to be, “Go Old Men!” 😉
