Well, this is it.  My final post of this years Project 52.  I have a bunch of different emotions swirling around my head right now.  Mostly though, it’s a sense of pride that I started a project and saw it through to the end.  It was fun for me, so much so that I’m going to continue with this journey in some capacity in 2012.  I’ll take a few weeks off to figure out exactly how I want this next project to play out, but I promise I’ll start something new again.

To my loyal followers, thank you.  Thank you for the comments that kept me going each week.  Thank you for encouraging me to keep going.  Thank you for telling me how much you loved my posts and pictures, especially on the weeks that I used my iPhone.  Thank you for believing in me and loving me and supporting me as my thoughts and pictures spilled onto your computer screens each week.  Thank you.

I always knew I wanted my very last post to be a self portrait of some sort.  As I type this I’m still in my pajamas (it’s 4:00 pm), haven’t showered in over a day, and am not feeling at all photogenic.  But I’m following through with my goal anyway.  I’m just going to surround myself with my beautiful family and hope your eyes are drawn to their faces, and not mine!

Until next year…..

Danielle, yes you’ve accomplished a goal, congratulations.
But in truth, you did much more than that. You shared a piece of yourself and connected to others.
This makes us all more human.
Thank you for making us all a little better.
I love you.

I miss you even more. Love, Amy

Danielle..
What a major accomplishment! Congratulations on fulfilling your goal. You opened a window to your heart each week and I enjoyed your commentaries. The pictures were truly worth a thousand words. Today, I had Nana Jane peruse several blogs and she loved them.
I look forward to your continued journey in 2012.
…and I must say, you look marvelous in your PJs! Love to you all, Sheila
