There are very few things sweeter than the sound of your child learning to read. O has been attempting this feat since pre-school, but never really getting the hang of sounding words out correctly until just recently. When A would read aloud to us, he would pick up a book and speak in gibberish, pretending he was reading just like his big sister. But now, he can pick up a book, sound the words out and actually READ! Here he is up in VT with his grandmother, reading with gusto. Way to go big O!
