Happy Birthday to ME!!
Anyone who knows me knows how much I LOVE birthdays (especially mine). Growing up, my parents always made a huge, huge deal about our birthdays. I can still hear my mom’s birthday mantra: “This is YOUR day {said very dramatically}. We’ll do whatever YOU want.” Complete joy! Now that I’m an adult, and have kids of my own, you’d think that I wouldn’t still expect a big deal to be made over my birthday. You’re wrong. I think it’s only fitting that everyone gets one day out of the year that is solely dedicated to them. Some might roll their eyes (my husband and brother-in-law) but after 36 years of jubilant birthday celebrations, I can’t seem to break tradition. And, I really don’t want to, because every March 11 I wake up and lay in bed for just a little bit remembering all the birthday mornings at 226 Blueberry Hill Road with my amazing family. It’s a great way to start my new year.
Here are my beautiful, loving, generous, thoughtful, giving parents who drove up to NH for the night to help celebrate another year of Danielle!

And I am sure that my sons ( one of them is her husband) remembers the wonderful days that I gave them. This is a joke since they are remember only minor efforts over that day…….. but I am making up for it now, right boys?
