The light by the fridge was good this morning, so I asked Abby and Oliver to come stand for a picture (Lila was still getting dressed). I had visions of a beautiful portrait of the two of them standing together with their heads touching and delicious light bouncing off their irises. But, apparently it’s gross for siblings to touch heads together, and if they stand too close to one another, someone has to nudge the other one, and feet get stomped on “accidentally.” I think I need to lower my expectations involving their participation in this project. I’m just 52 days in, and the competition for who is in the most pictures has definitely worn off. It’s time to start bribing.
So this is them, basking in their early morning forced smiles before school.

Love all of these pictures. and what you write. I make myself wait for a few days so I can see them in a grouping of 3.
