On this particular day, our littlest one was chosen as “Panda of the Day” in her Kindergarten class. That means she gets to take home the special Panda book with pictures and tidbits about all of her new friends to share with her family. Tomorrow she’ll get to be the line leader (or “cut right to the front” as she likes to explain it) and help with some other classroom activities. It’s a big deal and she’s owning it.
You know what she’s not owning? Her British accent. I tried to read through her Panda Class book in my best British accent and I was basically thrown off the couch. She’s over that.
But I’m not.
It’s not fair. It’s dreadful, really. (you have to say that in a British accent and then pout to get the full effect).

I love that accent and still have my video of it. Bring it back Lila me girl!
