The power of a photograph. Right? This is pretty powerful.
Guess what?
I tricked you!!!
This is not what you think it is. This is not a picture of Lila and Oliver holding hands lovingly. This is a picture of a punishment. It’s called “The Two Best Friends Anyone Ever Met” and it was introduced to me by my sister (but we really are the two best friends anyone ever met). Basically, these two couldn’t get along, so they had to hold hands for 15 minutes while a timer was set. Wherever he goes, she goes and vice versa. These two cheated and let go of each others hands so they had to be besties for 30 minutes. It really works, but you have to follow through. They’ll try to let go because they’re sneaky little bastards, but I follow them and catch them (because I too am a sneaky little bastard).
(I found out recently that Lila enjoys this punishment so I had to invent “The Two Best Strangers Anyone Ever Met” and I pull out all sorts of fun games for them to play… ALONE. Please don’t tell me I suck at parenting, I’m really doing the best I can and your kids are different from my kids so let’s just not judge each other, instead let’s share our fun punishment games.)
