Lila has had a rats nest building in her hair for weeks. I only try to brush it out occasionally because it’s always met with tears and protests and I just don’t think it’s worth the battle — and to be honest, I don’t have the patience. Plus, I found that it can be hidden pretty well in a ponytail.
Lila and Oliver had haircuts today and the rats nest was finally hunted down and dismantled brush by glorious brush.
And to show how well these two can clean up, here’s an after picture. I really wish I had taken a before picture because these guys seriously looked like I had picked them up off the side of the road.
Cute! I never realize how badly they need haircuts until after they’ve gotten their hair cut. Yikes!
