Have I mentioned that I love what I do?  I also love newborn shoots.  Big time!
Meet the adorable Brown family. You’ve likely seen them on my website and have probably wondered if I hired professional models (or if I actually landed a shoot with Tiger Woods). About a month ago, they welcomed their second daughter, Quinn to their cute little family. I’ve known Katie my entire life, which makes being able to document some of her family story all the more beautiful.

:Meet Quinn:

I love spending time with families and their newborn babes. There’s an indescribable sort of love surrounding everyone, and I sometimes forget to actually take pictures because I am so mesmerized. This is one of the few times when I do believe you can actually see what love looks like. Get ready to swoon….

Katie’s dad was visiting his newest granddaughter so I had to make sure I got him in some photos as well.  It’s so important to document moments like this.

Big sister Avery was still napping when I got there, so when we heard her start to stir, I followed Katie up to her room in the hopes that I could take some sleepy photos. Yeah, not really. She was up and at ’em, and maybe a little unsure of me at first….

I can’t possibly forget their first baby, Sport. We made this exact same portrait two years ago when Avery was born (you’ve definitely seen THAT in my portfolio)…

Quinn might not be a real newborn baby though.  I think she might actually be a doll. She didn’t make a sound. She opened her eyes twice and then fell right back to sleep. And as it typically happens at every newborn session, my uterus ached just a little bit (!!!!)……

Congratulations Brown Family and welcome to the world, beautiful Quinn!
