We spent Memorial Day Weekend up in Vermont where the kids fell right back into step with their cousins that they don’t get to see nearly often enough.  When they get together it’s like no time has passed at all, and the shrieks and hugs and races around the dining room table seem to be part of their cousin greeting ritual!  They put on performances (with some pretty impressive dance moves), swam in the pool, played lacrosse, went fishing (the most exciting catch of the day was a log), and of course pitched in with some farm chores under the watchful eye and booming voice of  Uncle Tommy V.
It was a perfect weekend!  This weeks picture is of the gang heading down the road to go fishing at Miller’s pond.  I don’t know why I always love taking pictures of the back of people, but there’s something about this picture in particular that made me fall completely in love with it.  Everyone has a skip in their step, and if this picture had a musical montage attached to it, I think it would be the Andy Griffith Show theme song.  Don’t you?
