Rain, rain, go away…..
It has been raining for 5 straight days, until this afternoon when we were granted a little reprieve. Oliver, Lila and I headed outside for some much needed fresh air. It felt so good to be outside again! I like to compare it to that first 25 degree day in winter (after a string of negative temperatures) when we lived in VT — you’d hear everyone outside commenting on how beautiful it was! Here’s Lila, almost looking like she’s kicking her heels up on what we call her ‘wonky bike’. It’s a hand me down 2x over. It was Abby’s and used to be covered in purple butterflies, until we spray painted it black for Oliver to use. Now it’s Lila’s and we threw on some old training wheels that we had lying around which of course don’t even fit. She could care less! (Please note the tilting).
