She brought a puzzle into my office and dumped the box on the floor and began working silently while I edited pictures. We both worked quietly for a while and then I closed my computer and joined her on the floor. Every time I would connect two pieces together, she would grab it out of my hand and say “I was just about to do that!” After a bit she sighed a deep heavy sigh and pulled the pieces closer to her. I realized she didn’t really want my help, she just wanted me to sit with her.
Funny that she keeps being the one to teach me how to slow down and just be.
