Day one of February vacation.
We journey to Longmeadow so I can say goodbye and celebrate a lifelong/wonderful/amazing friend who left us way too soon. As I head out the door to Lee’s Celebration of Life I remember that I didn’t take a picture of the day yet. These two were snuggled together playing some sort of game, and it filled my aching heart to see them like this. A beautiful moment to capture.
“We will never be the same as we were before this loss, but are ever so much better for having had something so great to lose.” To know Lee was to love Lee, and that’s what we’ll continue to do forever.
