The slip and slide was dusted off and thrown on the (small) hill on our front lawn. It’s no beach, but when you’re hot and you’re 5, it doesn’t really matter how you cool off.
Someday she’ll learn to smile when my lens finds her face. But for now, this is all she gives me.
