Sometimes the best ideas come at the end.
Like this spur of the moment gathering of friends at the beach. Look! Someone even brought a beach appetizer table (which I immediately went online and purchased the next day). We rode our bikes to the beach and assembled our chairs in a circle and marveled at the last minute appetizers that were pulled out of sandy beach bags. Wine was uncorked, candles were lit, and stories were started and finished for the first time all summer(because you can’t have a real conversation at the beach during the day when your kids are around, right?).
It was perfect, even though I had to ride my bike home without my pants on, but that’s a story for another day…..
