Boat trips to Kettle Cove on the Doc to Dock. My dad bought the boat for his 7 grandkids. No amount of begging when we were younger would persuade him to buy a motor boat for our family. It’s clear he likes our kids better than us, but we’re okay with that because they aren’t old enough to drive the boat yet and we decide when and where we go out.
I’m a fair weather boater. Actually, I am more of a lake boater. I don’t like waves, or swells, or whitecaps. I like glassy water where I can see the bottom and know that sharks aren’t swimming underneath. Maybe I really like pool boating.
